Old Town Square was a place for many movements and reforms throughout the years. The square itself is surrounded by various buildings resembling the styles and architecture of the time.
One of the most incredible feets was during World War II. The square was basically unharmed during all the mayhem because Hilter personally took a liking to Prague and the square, so unlike many other eastern European cities Prague’s history remained intact.
When visiting the square make sure to notice these sites:
The Astronomical Clock
Statue of Jan Hus
Church of the Hussites
Paris Street to the Metronome
